TheResident Evil 4remake isessentially a Metroidvania. Players will need to collect key items and backtrack to previously accessed areas to unlock new routes and to also collect treasure. Like for example, players will quickly spot a home in the Village Square, where the attack takes place in Chapter 1, that has a treasure inside of it; however, there’s no way to get in, at least in the beginning of the game.

This guide will showResident Evil 4playershow to get into the Gap in the Wall, so that they can collect the treasure inside. As for other gap in the walls inRE4, the one in the village square is the only one we’ve seen so far (as far as Chapter 5 goes). There might be other ones to gain access too later on in the game.

How to Get into the Gap in the Wall in Resident Evil 4 Remake

If players try and approach the gap in the wall whilethey are in Chapter 1, an icon will appear crossed out, showing that there is no way for Leon to do this by himself.

So, to get inside the home through the gap, players will first need to progress until they get to Chapter 5, which is when Ashley, the President’s daughter, gets added to Leon’s party.

With the new goal to reach the Extraction Point,Leon and Ashleywill eventually have to get through the village square again, so players should make sure to bring her over to the house with the gap and help her inside. She will control herself and open the front door, allowing Leon access inside.

There’s a chest in the house that contains the sellable item: theElegant Bangle. It can be sold to the Merchant for5000ptas, but if players add gemstones into its two round recesses, its worth can significantly increase, which is highly recommended. It’s also worth mentioning that different colored gemstones can alter the selling price of the treasure, so try and experiment to get the most bang for your buck.
