A Reddit user named hawaiiantrashboat has shared an image fromThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, showing that they found a weapon called Elven Bow of Mercy. This bow’s special ability appears true to its name, as it heals targets for 112 points upon every hit. This number is significantly higher than the bow’s damage output of 27, making it so that opponents will get healed for 85 points upon getting hit by an arrow. While the Elven Bow of Mercy has avalue of 1515 in the world ofSkyrim, it’s probably useless in combat scenarios.
Hawaiiantrashboat calls it a joke in the post’s title, but some users claim that it could be useful in leveling up the archery skill inSkyrim. One user jokingly states that it’s great for support builds, while another mentions that it could be utilized in healing companions without using the variousrestoration spells available inSkyrim.
One fan recently came across a strange battleaxe with the same bonus effect, as it too healed enemies upon every strike. However, in that case, theSkyrimbattleaxe would heal opponentsfor less than its damage output, so users would be able to eventually kill opponents if they kept swinging. The Elven Bow of Mercy shown in the image heals opponents for far more than the damage dealt, and enemies will probably always be at full health if it’s used during combat.
