Fans have been exploring the world ofThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimsince it was initially released back in 2011 and received multiple ports over the years as new consoles released. OneSkyrimfan has gotten lucky with the randomly generated loot in the game which rewarded them with Dragonbone Mail before beginning the main quest.

Reddit user HelloThere39400 recently shared two images of theirSkyrimOrc’s inventory in which they highlight Dragonbone Mail they’ve acquired early in their playthrough. According to the player, this gear was found prior to beginning the main quest after killing a powerfulDraugr, and it’s equipped alongside Insulated Dragonplate Armor, Necklace of Frost Resist, and a Ring of Minor Health. BecauseSkyrimis an open-world game, players are left to decide for themselves where they wish to go and what they plan to do and quests, including the main quest, are plot devices more than a signifier of progress.

HelloThere39400’sSkyrimscreenshots don’t only focus on Dragonbone Mail and Dragonplate Armor as the player has also received a Daedric Helmet and Dismal Visage which can be obtained from Alvasorr the Rat, which givesSkyrimfans an idea of the path HelloThere39400 took after leaving Helgen. Although HelloThere39400 equipped some of the most useful armor in the game early in the main story, the player has no Shouts because they haven’t visited theGreybeards of High Hrothgarafter defeating the first dragon in the game. Having this armor will doubtlessly assist HelloThere39400 in defeating the initial dragon, but the difficulty may curve after that as Elder and Ancient dragons show up further along the main quest.

The main quest ofSkyrimstarts after the trial in Helgen as players escape with Ralof or Hadvar depending on the choices they make during this early portion of the game. After leaving Helgen, theSkyrimplayer is told to go to Riverwood before being sent to Whiterun which is where they are tasked with the beginning part of the main quest, searchingBleak Falls Barrowfor Dragonstone on behalf of court wizard Farengar. Because of their higher gear level, HelloThere39400’s Bleak Falls Barrow may have more powerful enemies in it thanSkyrimfans are accustomed to in the early game.

Skyrimplayers who wish to craft the armor shown off by HelloThere39400’s images will have to level theirSmithing skillway up to level 100 in order to acquire the Dragon Armor perk. While there are ways to manipulate Smithing like other skills to increase levels quicker, mostSkyrimplayers won’t reach this Smithing perk until they’re at a much higher level than HelloThere39400 in their Dragonbone Mail playthrough. It’s currently unclear how much ofSkyrimHelloThere39400 intends to explore with their Dragonbone and Dragonplate armor before tackling the main quest, but they’re seemingly well-prepared.
