Diablo 4’s Season 4 Update Is Causing Issues for RTX 40 GPU Users

According toDiabloGlobal Community Development Director Adam Fletcher on Twitter, a temporary workaround has been uncovered while Blizzard and Nvidia work on a fix for affected Geforce RTX 40 series cards. Fletcher stated that turning off DLSS Frame Generation, a feature exclusive to the RTX 40 series, and turning off ray tracing may help PC players who continue experiencing crashes. However, Fletcher did not say when a fix would go live for this particular issue, but reiterated that DLSS Frame Generation was one of the major reasons for the problem.

Coupled with other features such asthe reworked Helltidesand the Pit, the fourth season ofDiablo 4is a breath of fresh air for players looking to jump back in. It remains to be seen when Nvidia and Blizzard will issue fixes for the crashes affecting RTX 40 series users.
