Spider-Man: Miles Moralesretains a lot of what makes the first game work, from fun combat to exhilarating webswinging and a lovable protagonist. There are also several great alternate costumes inSpider-Man: Miles Morales, and one fan has created a look that players will surely wish was in the game.

Thecostumes ofSpider-Man: Miles Moralesdepict the webslinger in several different looks, with many being fully original designs due to the hero’s relatively brief comic book history. Despite this, a majority of the new looks fit the young Spider-Man brilliantly, with Spidey donning a mix of futuristic looks and more basic outfits. As such, a fully original design from a fan makes perfect sense too, with the fact that tinman888’s costume is so well-made making it just as worthy of praise as Insomniac’s original designs.

The outfit should look familiar for fans of both the comics and theMarvel’s Spider-Manvideo game, as the predecessor ofSpider-Man: Miles Moralesfeatured the Spider-Armor MK2. Created by Peter Parker during a dark period of his career as a superhero where he vowed to never let anyone die again, the suit is fully bullet-proof and lacks the thinner material used in his iconic look. While not as bulky as Iron Man’s armor, the suit is one of the moreunique designs worn by Spidey— and an altered version of the costume looks amazing on Miles Morales.

Redditor Tinman888 posted his version of thisspecial Spider-Man costume, showcasing a few significant changes to the Spider-Armor. While the popped collar, unique symbol, and lined accents for the suit all remain intact, they are colored red as opposed to yellow. Aside from adding his signature color to the mix, neon lines of energy coarse from the body of the suit to Miles hands — likely meant to show that some of the hero’s Venom power is being channeled into the armor for later use.

With the thinner eyes adding another layer of coolness to Miles’ fan-made Spider-Armor MK2, it is hard not to appreciate this altered version of the original design. While Insomniac has not yet included any Spider-Man suit concepts that have been made by the fans, the sequel toMarvel’s Spider-Mancould see that change. With some neatideas for the sequel’s Symbiote suitalso shared in the past, it seems like there would be plenty of fun ideas to pull from the Marvel superhero’s loyal fanbase.

With little known aboutMarvel’s Spider-Man 2and players still theorizing about thevillains Miles and Peter may face, perhaps alternate versions of the original Spidey’s costumes can be made for the up-and-coming hero. While they may just be recolors, having more options is never a bad thing — especially when they look as good as this version of the Spider Armor.
