Every farmer has been there. Now what? It’s Wednesday and Pierre’s shop is shut!
Time to ignore the moral compass saying to shop small, andstep foot into the corporate setting of JojaMart.They have an array of seeds for sale every day, so players can grab what they need for the mid-week plant at an only-slightly elevated price. The store is open from 9am till 11pm every day, unlike Pierre’s conservative 9am to 5pm, six days a week routine.

This scheme does indeed come at a price beyond the monetary value: purchasing this membership willdestroy the Community Center,and mean that it cannot be filled or completed. As mentioned, JojaMart can be a great place to get seeds on a day when Pierre’s has the audacity to close early or not open at all. But, what if Morris revealed that there is actually a particular seed that is best to buy directly from Joja, regardless of the day?

Somehow, amazingly,Sunflower Seedsare cheaper at Joja Mart —not only than at Pierre’s, but cheaper than the Night Market merchant, and the Traveling Merchant’s cart. It is unclear why there is a discrepancy withSunflower seeds, but players are advised to take advantage of the corporation’s frugal slip-up.
1The Auto-Petter
At some point, most farmers are going to get to the stage of havingmore animalsthan they know what to do with. When this happens, the animals might not get the attention and love that they deserve and won’t, therefore, produce the best eggs, milk, or other products.
So, to keep those giant eggs and large milks coming,it is best to invest in a helping hand: Joja Mart’sAuto-Petter.It is only available after completing the Joja Warehouse, however, and costs an eye-opening 50,000g. But it is worth it. The Auto-Petter keeps the mood of any animals up each day, while their owners are out running quests. Be sure to place it in the barn though! The petting can also stack with the player attending to animals too, which can speed up the process quite a lot.
