When it comes toStarfield’s best quests, players can see unique rewards, exciting stories, or just a thrilling sense of gameplay that makes this Bethesda game stand out from the rest. ManyStarfieldside quests require exploration and conversation with NPCs to start them, so here are some that the player might have missed.
5Tourists Go Home
It seems that Doctor Giuliana is sick to death of tourists coming to Titan. Many of these off-world visitors come to Titan expecting fun and games, but end up leaving for her office to get patched up due to the dangers. Her frustration has seen her desperate, and she employs the help of the player to help scare away these pesky tourists in theTourists Go Home mission.
Players will receive a fun Monster Costume, and they will be tasked with scaring the random tourists who wander around New Homestead. It’s a more comedic mission due to the silliness of the spacesuit, but even better still is the fact that completing this mission will see players keep the Monster Costume.
4Juno’s Gambit
StartingJuno’s Gambitcan be a bit of a random one, due to the fact that they will see a mysterious and desolate ship float in the infinite of space. However, when players board the vessel, they will find two Ryujin Operatives inside. Anyone with a vague sense of Neon and the megacorporations ofStarfieldwill know thatRyujin is always up to something shady, so it’s best to keep an eye on these two.

As players talk to them, they will learn that Juno’s Gambit quest may be a short one, but it involves the exciting prospects of an Artificial Intelligence, one that seems to have gained sentience. The quest itself presents a philosophy surrounding life, and if humans get to dictate what is sentient or otherwise. Despite the shortness of this quest, it’s a brilliant and engaging one.
3Mantis Quest
Vigilantes are no longer limited to patrolling cities, and it seems as if a mysterious and rumored hero, the Mantis, has been causing chaos for Spacers and the Crimson Fleet for decades. The immortal hero is actually a mantel to uphold, and players canfind the Mantis’ Lair, along with some pesky villains that are trying to get inside.

The Mantis Quest is a great joy toStarfield, not only because of the exciting prospects of a superhero mission that involves a secret cave, identity, and puzzle, but from the fact that players will obtain a unique bout of rewards, including the Mantis Suit and the Razorleaf Ship, which will have Crimson Fleet vessels using their Grav Drives out of fear of the Mantis.
2Companion Quests
For reasons not to be disclosed here, the companion quests are missable if players progress too far intoStarfield’s main story. Players can receive a unique and dedicated mission that will delve into the pasts and adventures of each of the core 4 romance partners of Constellation, each of them featuring a different location and exciting story. To obtain these quests, players need to develop a goodbond with their chosen companionuntil they are ready:
1Burden Of Proof
Burden of Proof is a side quest exclusive to the UC SysDef and Crimson Fleet quest lines. This side quest involving the two factions is great for the collectors out there, as Burden of Proof requires players tofind Evidence Slatesthat will put Crimson Fleet members behind bars.
In doing this side quest, players can find unique NPCs locked away in the Brig of the UC Vigilance. However, it’s worth noting that this sidequest is easy to miss because some Evidence Slates are mission-specific, and the NPCs that can be thrown in jail could be dead by the time players complete this mission.
Starfieldis available now for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
