Ever sinceStarfieldlaunched on May 13, 2025, players have been making countless findings during their travels across the Settled Systems. With over1,000 planets to scan and explore inStarfield, there seems to be no shortage of what players can unearth and share with the community. From bizarre encounters with Spacers in space to heartbreaking revelations that involve the legacy of the Mantis,Starfieldis filled to the brim with sights to see and activities to do. This is due to the Creation Engine 2, which caters to a particular setting that looks extremely familiar to a planet from theStar Warsuniverse.

When completing a random mission inStarfield, Reddit user kabflash shared a screenshot of their time on a fiery planet that resembles Mustafar fromStar Wars. Initially appearing inStar Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, Mustafar is a lava planet, and it’s whereObi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker engage in their epic fight. While the Outpost itself is not from Mustafar, its presentation almost seems like a replica. Note the overflowing presence of lava, the desolate station, and the brooding atmosphere, all captured by kabflash who was merely tending to their mission board.

Despite how unique the lava planet is from theStarfieldgame, it appears that players are having a difficult time locating it.Starfieldis known for featuring barren lands that have been riddled by rough planetary conditions, but it’s a rarity to come across a lava planet, let alone one that looks similar to a setting fromStar Wars. Even as other users look to see where they can find this planet, kabflash can’t recall where they found the area. “I really wish I took note, didn’t realize so many people would want to know,” he says, responding to a few comments that share the similar goal of locating the fiery planet. He continues by saying, “I’m going to attempt to find it again,” though he admits that it won’t be easy.

While some players questioned the location of the lava planet, many shared theirStar Warsreferences. “Alright, I’ll be the first to say it.. IT’S OVER ANAKIN, I HAVE THE GROUND!” wrote one user. “Darth Vader’s fortress confirmed,” said another.

Starfieldhas amassed a welcoming community of players who have shared their interstellar adventures for good or ill. It’s become an ideal home for creative players to craft famous spaceships fromStar Wars, including theMillennium Falcon starshipand an X-Wing fighter. As players continue to discover new things, they’ll likely be more inclined to uncover more of what the game has to offer.
