Reddit user SpaceNigiri shared two images ofStarfield’s character creator that sport a striking resemblance to Naomi Nagata and Amos Burton fromThe Expanse. The player found two default presets of the character creator with the same facial traits as Dominique Tipper and Wes Chatham’s characters. The female preset stands out in particular, as it has the same hairstyle Nagata uses in the Amazon Prime Video show. TheStarfieldcharacter creator is highly detailed, andStarfieldplayers are using it in unique ways. This feature allowsStarfieldplayers to pick physical and personality traits and background that impacts the skill tree. Before that,Starfieldplayers must select one of 40 presets, a base character template that works as a “starting point” for customization.
In addition to the character creator to exercise creativity,Starfield’s level of customization extends to ships. AStarfieldship consists of 13 parts that can be customized, such as the shield generator, weapons, and reactor. Customizing a ship inStarfieldaffects the ship’s performance, while some options are gated behind obtaining certain skills. This feature has also led to creative results, withStarfieldplayers building the Millennium Falcon, and other famous ships from the sci-fi universe.
There are still a few days to go untilStarfield’s official release. Despite being available only in early access,Starfieldis already making big numbers on Twitch and Steam, showing how much players are looking forward to the game.
