These can be found through exploration, completing a quest, or purchasing them in the in-game store. A handful of these costumes and hairstyles were shown in theJanuary State of PlayStellar Bladetrailer, which includes a golden top with jeans, a red dress, and a bunny-themed hoodie.

Kim was also asked about how the developers went about designing the heroine, which led to discussion about howStellar Blade’s Eve was based on South Korean model Shin Jae-eun. Kim stated that Shift Up was looking to create the “most attractive looking” body for the character, which is why they pursued working with Jae-eun, and that she was a good reference. This statement does match up with Shift Up’s past works, likeNikke, which had a deliberate focus on character designs with physical appeal.
