There are 47 achievements available inTales of Arisewhen playing the game on Xbox and PC, with PlayStation versions boasting one additional trophy. 16 of these are tied directly to story progression, with the rest requiring players to complete a wide variety of difficult, and, in many cases, time-consuming tasks.
The good news is that none of the trophies/achievements inTales of Ariseare missable, though some of them will take an awful lot of time to unlock. To avoid wasting time, players hoping to collect them all should therefore have an idea of what they need to be working towards in mind as they make their way through the game.
Updated August 05, 2025, by Tom Bowen:The Beyond the Dawn expansion adds around twenty hours of new story content to Tales of Arise as well as a substantial amount of side content. There are also eleven new trophies/achievements, all of which have been added to Game Rant’s Tales of Arise achievement guide. Players can find every Beyond the Dawn trophy by scrolling down the page or by clicking the linkhere.
Emissary of Liberation
Defeat Lord Balseph.
Unlocked as part of the main story after defeating Balseph atGlanymede Castle.
Vanquishers of Darkness
Defeat Lord Ganabelt.

Wall Smasher
Forge strong bonds with all party members.
After Rinwell joins the party, Alphen will be able to have special conversations with other party members while resting at campsites (indicated by an ellipsis next to their name). These conversations are limited to one every hour (either in-menu or in-game), with each party member requiring six conversations to max out their bond with Alphen. Once the bond has been maxed, a smiley face will appear next to their name.
Owl Homecoming
Find and report all of the owls.
Findall 38 owls on Dahnaand then return to the Owl Forest.
Rebellious Spark
Clear your first sub-quest.
Look for NPCs with envelope icons above their heads and speak with them to initiate a sub-quest. After completing one, the trophy/achievement will unlock.
Problem Solver
Clear 70 sub-quests.
67 of the 70 sub-quests inTales of Arisecan be tackled before players complete the main story. “Another Hillside Anomaly,” “Otherworldly Visitors,” and “The Reminiscence Device” can only be initiated on a cleared save file (save the game after defeating the final boss and then load up the save file).
Skilled Angler
Catch your first fish.
Unlocked as part of the main story after reaching Talka Pond Road.
Godly Angler
Catch every type of fish.
Catchall 44 types of fishand then report back to the Fishing Expert on Talka Pond Road.
Speedy Chef
Cook your first meal.
Unlocked as part of the main story after the cooking tutorial near the beginning of the game.
Globetrotting Foodie
Acquire 30 kinds of non-DLC recipes.
There are 38 non-DLCcooking recipes inTales of Arise. To unlock the trophy, players simply need to find 30 of them (they do not need to actually prepare the dishes).
Arms Stockpiler
Forge 100 types of weapons.
There are 103 craftable weapons in the game, though players will need to wait until after they’ve completed the main story before they can find theweapon crafting componentsneeded for five of them.
Jeweler
Craft 30 accessories.
Players gain access to accessory crafting upon their arrival in Cyslodia. They’ll simply need to craft any 30 accessories once they do in order to unlock the trophy/achievement.
What’s in a Name?
Myriad Monikers
Learn 400 non-DLC title skills.
To unlock 400 skills, players will need to unlock most of the Titles in the game. To find out how to do this, they can simply hover over any locked Title in the Skill Panel Menu.
Hundred-Hit Smackdown
Get over 100 hits in a combo.
This should come naturally as players make their way through the game. It’s easier against single enemies, as the rest of the party will contribute towards the total and will also help to keep the combo alive if the player runs out of AG.
One-Hit Wonder
Deal 10,000 or more damage in one hit.
Once players reach level 40, they should be able to unlock this trophy/achievement by returning to Calaglia and hitting an enemy with either Alphen’s Boost Strike or his Reigning Slash Arte.
Diligent Counterattacker
Perform 100 Counter Edges.
To perform a Counter Edge, players need to tap the R2/RT button to dodge just as an enemy is attacking and then immediately hit R1/RB to counter. If they’re having trouble with the timing, there are skills available in the Skill Panel to extend the window in which players can dodge.
High Roller
Spend 400,000 Gald.
This trophy/achievement should unlock naturally as players make their way through the game.
Peak Strength
Reach level 100.
Players will likely need to do a bit of grinding to reach level 100. Repeatedly defeating Chronos in The Otherworld is arguably the easiest method, particularly if players are gaining additional EXP boosts from Artifacts and Cooking.
Encyclopedia Zeuglica
Encounter 120 types of non-DLC enemies.
Assuming players are battling every enemy they come across, this trophy/achievement should unlock around the time that players are exploring The Otherworld.
Unrelenting Blaze
Defeat Efreet Malum.
Unlocked as part of the main story after defeating Efreet Malum at Berg Volcano Interior.
Night Blossom
Defeat Meneiys.
Unlocked after defeating Meneiys as part of the “The Phantom Flower of Nevira” sub-quest.
Quaking Continent
Defeat Grand Gnome.
Unlocked after defeating the Grand Gnome as part of the “Spirit Temple” sub-quest.
Billowing Cyclone
Defeat Procella Sylph.
Unlocked after defeating the Procella Sylph as part of the “Farewell, Mage” sub-quest.
Raging Current
Defeat Luo Undine.
Unlocked after defeating Luo Undine as part of the “Untamable Rage” sub-quest.
Otherworldly Survivor
Clear the “Otherworldly Visitors” sub-quest.
The “Otherworldly Visitors” sub-quest only unlocks after players have completed the game and requires players to defeat numerous powerful bosses in The Otherworld; the last one being Chronos.
Putting the Past in its Place
Clear the “Reminiscence Device” sub-quest.
Another post-game sub-quest, “The Reminiscence Device” is arguably the toughest in the game and will likely require players to be at least level 90 before taking it on.
Elite Vanguard
Clear Ultimate level of group training ground fights.
The Ultimate Group challenge becomes available once players reach the Rena section of the story. Players will need to defeat the Sword Ranker, which will again require a very high-level party.
Dilettante
Obtain your first non-DLC artifact.
Unlocked as part of the main story after players reach Mount Dhiara.
Curious Hobbyist
Obtain 20 types of non-DLC artifacts.
There are 23Artifacts inTales of Arise, all but one of which can be obtained before players complete the main story.
Novice Rancher
Collect your first harvest on the ranch.
The Ranch becomes accessible after players complete the “Pharia Ranch” sub-quest. To unlock the trophy/achievement, players simply need to put any animal into a stable, wait for it to grow, and then harvest it by accessing the Ranch menu while speaking to a campsite merchant.
Veteran Rancher
Collect 50 harvests on the ranch.
Eventually, players will unlock additional stables, allowing them to raise up to fifteen animals at any given time. Providing they check in on the ranch from time to time (Law will usually suggest doing so when there are animals ready to be harvested), players should unlock the trophy/achievement relatively quickly.
Find and report 13 owls.
Find and report 32 owls.
Ceaseless Chatterbox
View 300 skits.
At certain points in the story, the R1/RB icon will appear in the bottom left-hand corner to indicate that a skit is available. Providing players hit the button to open the skit, skipping it still counts as having watched it. Any missed skits will eventually show up in the Reminisce menu while resting at campsites, though they can sometimes take a while to do so. Many of the 320 available skits are unlocked by completing side activities and sub-quests, so this will likely be one of the last trophies/achievements that most players unlock.
Arisen (PlayStation Exclusive)
Unlock every trophy inTales of Arise.
As with any other Platinum Trophy, players will need to unlock everything else before the Arisen trophy pops.
