AZelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer has shared a clever way to control vehicles without using a steering stick. InTears of the Kingdom, steering sticks make vehicles far easier to maneuver and control the direction the player goes. They are one ofTears of the Kingdom’s Zonai devicesand essential for utility builds. Players can get steering sticks from the Zonai Device Dispensers in the North Hyrule Sky and Tarrey Town Construction Site.

InTears of the Kingdom, vehicles are useful for traversing the lands of Hyrule and scorching embers of the Depths as fast as possible. The only way to create these builds is to utilizeTears of the Kingdom’s Ultrahand ability, which allows players to carry heavy items as well as attach them together. Over the past month, a number of utility vehicles have surfaced on Hyrule Engineering Club, a Reddit forum that quickly became a place where players show their wildest builds and foster creativity.

OneTears of the Kingdomplayer, who goes by the name Okessen on Reddit, shared a clever way to drive a plane without a steering stick, using Link’s weight to change the direction the vehicle goes. The player put Link’s weight to the right so that the plane steers in that direction, and the vehicle goes straight without any issues when they put Link’s weight on the middle part of the plane. If players want to have direct control of their plane, they can use this method by simply walking around the vehicle.

It’s fair to say thatTears of the Kingdomplayers have delivered on the creativity front thanks to the Ultrahand ability. They have been busy designing and crafting engineering marvels to locomote throughTears of the Kingdom’s gorgeous locales. Apart from the Reddit forum, some members of theZeldacommunity put together an instructional website to help others make their own vehicles.

Sticking spare materials together is a hoot, but players must get familiar with the ancient Zonai tech to add some sort of balancing effect to their builds. Zonai devices are leftover advanced tech powered up by Link’s energy cells. They open the world up further with creative potential and allow players to turn their builds into death machines. As an example, one craftyTears of the Kingdomplayer made an autonomous combat dronewith beam emitters, which can take out hordes of enemies at a distance.
