However, when a sorcerer takes the negative energy in their bodies from multiple sources and multiplies them together, the resulting action ends up creating positive energy that the sorcerer can then use to heal themselves.
How Reverse Cursed Techniques are Used in Battle
The positive energy used for Reverse Cursed Technique essentially acts against the typical negative energy that can be used for Cursed Techniques or to make Cursed Spirits. Its main goal is to heal the person who uses it and it is so powerful in doing so that it can regrow entire limbs in a matter of seconds, making it an almost essential tool for fights involving the strongest sorcerers.Though it can be used to heal oneself, Yuta and Shoko are the only ones who can use their RCT to heal others.

The way that Cursed Technique Reversal works is by taking the inherent properties of a Cursed Technique and infusing them with positive energy, which makes the effect of the Cursed Technique act inversely. Though the possibilities for this are seemingly endless, even fewer sorcerers can do this than Reverse Cursed Technique.
How Cursed Technique Reversals are Used in Battle
Whereas Reverse Cursed Techniques require the mere production of positive energy to heal, Cursed Technique Reversals require the production of this positive energy, which is then supposed to be applied to a sorcerer’s Cursed Technique, something which has only been shown by Gojo and Kenjaku.When applying CTR to Limitless, Gojo took Lapse Blue’s power of attraction and created Reversal Red, a technique that has an infinite repulsive force instead of Blue’s attractive one.
