If the Sims aren’t doing bad financially, they can increase their chance of getting a gold star for their social event by hiring a few extra people. It never hurts to go with a mixologist who will prepare drinks for the guests, an entertainer, who will play music, and finally, also a caterer who will take care of the food.
It can sometimes happen that the hired service isn’t doing what they’re supposed to, in which case, the Sim throwing the event should remind them what their job is. Hiring all of these people isn’t the only thing a successful social event needs but it’s a good start if the player wants the guests to have fun.
8Get The Mood Right

One of the more demanding tasks that can be complicated for some players is to have a certain number of Sims feel a certain way at the same time, for example, playful or flirty. It’s difficult toachieve a unified mood inThe Sims 4simply by talking to Sims separately. However, there’s a way how to move forward with this without the Sim talking to their guests at all.
It’s necessary to have an object with the right emotional aura in the place where the event’s happening. This object can be a painting, for example, a rare rock, a painting, or a decoration. Whatever it is, turning on its emotional aura will affect the Sims on the lot and increase the chance of fulfilling the task and getting closer to the gold medal.

It might seem like a given but it’s still easy to forget this. In order tothrow an awesome party inThe Sims 4, the host of the event should not only feel happy or confident but should also have all their Needs taken care of before the event starts.
If the Sim is feeling miserable, angry, they’re hungry, or about to pass out from a lack of sleep, they won’t be able to do all the required tasks. As a result, it will become impossible to get to the third tier and receive the gold star.
