General Tips
Unlike most other resources, silver is really tough to farm even when it’s located in abundance. When it’s not actively killing its holder, enemy vampires and monsters will be making regular patrols in this territory. Also, it requires a very high-level weapon to farm with; level 72 weapons, for example, don’t work to bleed the mine.
It’s best to make quick trips back and forth, filling up bags and then going directly back to base, avoiding any side ventures. Drop it off and put it in a Vampire Lockbox, not a regular container. Enemies can’t loot Vampire Lockboxes, so the most valuable assets, like silver, should be used to protect these extremely valuable items.
