For over thirty years,The Simpsonshas entertained television viewers as one of the most celebrated and successful animated shows in history. In July 2007, Vans collaborated with the sitcom for the long-awaitedSimpsons Movie. Now, the American skate brand andThe Simpsonsare re-teaming for a new line of products that will be available starting July 25, 2025.

“For over 30 years,The Simpsonstelevision show has been a part of pop culture, providing hilarious insight into suburban family life. This season, Vans honorsThe Simpsonswith a vibrant collection of footwear, apparel, and accessories that celebrate iconic moments from the historic series,” Vans said in a statement. Although the titular family of the series will be featured most prominently, the line-up will also include items featuring supporting characters such as Krusty the Clown, Otto, Moe, and more. “The Vans x Simpsons collection celebrates the Simpsons family (Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie) with depictions and references that diehard fans will appreciate,” the company added.

Among the more notable products are a pair of high-tops featuring the entire Simpsons family, a Bart Simpson backpack, and a bright yellow long-sleeved T-shirt featuring Krusty the Clown. Initially created by Matt Groening as a series of animated shorts that became part ofThe Tracey Ullman Showin 1987,The Simpsonswas later developed into a 30-minute sitcom that aired its first episode in December 1989. Since then,The Simpsonshas become the longest-running American sitcom and the longest-running American scripted primetime television series of all time, spawning the previously mentioned feature film and a handful ofvideo games. The 31st season ofThe Simpsonsconcluded in May 2020 and its 32nd is scheduled to begin this fall.

However, whileThe Simpsonswas hailed as one of the best and most influential comedy series' in its early days, it’s since been criticized for a perceived decline in quality over the past twenty or so years. Consequently, the desire for newSimpsonsmerchandise may not be strong as it was back in the heyday of the show.

On the other hand, earlier seasons ofThe Simpsonsmay still hold sentimental value for some, even if they are among those who no longer watch the series. After all, people still cared enough aboutThe Simpsonsto complain aboutthe incorrect aspect ratio being presentedwhen the series debuted on Disney+.
