Giddyup Buttercup is used as a crafting material for several legendary weapons and outfits inFallout Shelter. It is an important resource for completing high-level quests and defending your vault against difficult enemies.
Do not sell any Giddup Buttercupsyou find whileexploring the Wasteland inFallout Shelter. They are rare drops. You will have a hard time gearing up your dwellers in the late game without them.
Firstly, there are at least two legendary weapons that you want to farm Giddyup Buttercups for. These are theBurnmaster flamethrowerand theVengeance gatling laser. Both are hailed as thebest weapons inFallout Shelter. The Vengeance in particular deals one of the highest damage in the game.
Secondly, you need Giddyup Buttercups to craft thebest armor inFallout Shelter. That includes theiconic Power Armor Setssuch as the T-45f and T-60f variants.

Questingis another excellent source for Giddyup Buttercups, particularly daily quests. There are severalquests with great rewards inFallout Shelter. In addition, there is a chance to randomly find loot while questing just as you do while exploring the Wasteland.
Giddyup Buttercups cannot be crafted or made inFallout Shelter.
Lunchboxes have a chance to give you valuable resources as well, which can include Giddyup Buttercups. You canbuy more Lunchboxes with real-world moneyto boost your chances.
The last way of getting Giddyup Buttercups isscrapping weapons and outfitsfor crafting materials. You will need to scrap legendary items to get legendary materials, though. This should be a last resort. You will normally want to give legendary items to your dwellers, but if everyone is fully geared, you can start recycling unwanted items.
