Will Poulter gave an interview during a film festival and spoke about his role in the anticipatedGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,which will star him as the comic book powerhouse, Adam Warlock. Adam Warlock is expected to be a threat to theGuardiansin the upcoming sequel, so expect to see a full reveal sometime next year.
The character was teased in the post-credits scene of the secondGuardians of the Galaxyfilm and ever since then, it’s been quiet in the Marvel Universe for the character. Now, fans have finally figured out who will be playing the character, and later they will hopefully learn what his role in the story will be.

Right now, it’s been slightly teased thatGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3will have a thematicfocus on the sisters Gamora and Nebula. However, Poulter spoke to Flip Your Wigabout his upcoming superpowered role in the new film, suggesting Adam Warlock will also be important. During a carpet interview, the actor said, “I feel very, very lucky and very honored to [have] been welcomed into the Marvel family.” He continued to speak about theGuardians of the Galaxyseries, saying, “I regard [theGuardiansfilms] to be incredibly creative and very, very unique. And James Gunn [is] someone I really, really admire. So, I feel very lucky.”
Poulter appeared to be very thankful for the opportunity and also spoke about “getting ready,” which may imply a vigorous workout regimen in order to get into a superhero physique. However, it just may allude to theGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3filming schedule, which should be starting soon. The film will be one of the Marvel Studios features for the fourth phase slate, which resumed this year withBlack Widow.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3will undoubtedly do well in terms of box office numbers due to all of the behind-the-scenes drama tied to it. With Gunn being fired then re-hired after fans and actors protested his termination, there’s no doubt that the film will be a big topic, to say the least. Gunn has been a big topic due to his successfulThe Suicide Squadfilm, so many expect nothing less for his Marvel film.
