BM Hunter Best in Slot Stat Criteria
Our Best in Slot suggestions will focus on if an item has the most important stats for your spec. Due to the stat priority for BM Hunters, it’s impossible to get items that match the requirements, since three of the stats are so close together. Generally, the best guideline to keep in mind is that you’ll want to pick up anything without Versatility. We always recommend that you sim your gear upgrades to ensure it’s better than what you’re wearing. We’ll go overhow to sim at the end of this guide.
Stat Priority
The stat priority for Beast Mastery Hunter is pretty simple.Haste, Crit, and Mastery are all pretty closeto each other and their differences are ultimately negligible.
Important Notes For All BiS Lists
It is important to note that any jump in ilvl by more than 10 points almost always results in the higher ilvl item being better. If you have an upgrade of 5 ilvl or less, compare the stats based on the stat priorities to decide the better item.
When weighing options of other items not listed below, refer to the stat priority of the class and spec. Keep in mind that stats eventually have diminishing returns, so it is not required to have absolutely every slot stack the same 2 stats. There’s a lot of options for the back slot. Make sure your focus on getting an item that doesn’t have Versatility and you’ll be in a good spot.
Best Chest
Chest is your other tier option that has Versatility. We’re highlighting the Mythic+ options without it, but ensure you sim to ensure your best loadout as the 4-piece bonus might be enough to push it over the edge.
Best Wrist
Your wrists in raid have Versatility in it, so we gotta turn to Mythic+.

Tier will most likely be your best option here. There are a lot more options than the ones listed below. As always, sim for your best gear!
Best Waist
You’ve got a good option in raid that may be the best bet here.
Best Legs
Your tier has Crit and Haste, which are my two favorite stats for BM Hunter.

. There’s a lot more available than what’s available below. As always, sim. Your only option in raid has Verastility, so we’re passing on it.
Best Rings
This is one of the more important gear slots to sim since you’ll have so many options aside from what is listed below.
