Where to Get Titanium Ore in WotLK Classic
Titanium Ore is found in all regions of Northrend. It can spawn anywhere that a Saronite Ore Deposits can spawn. Thebest places to farm Titanium Ore are Icecrown, Sholazar Basin, and Storm Peaks.
Best Titanium Ore Farming Routes
The three zones have many spawn locations for Titanium Ore Deposits to appear. Follow theOrange Pathhighlighted in the images below to optimally find the spawn locations for as many node locations as possible. Following this path should give ore nodes enough time to respawn by the time you have completed a loop around the route. If there are other players farming on your route, try reversing your direction or utilizing theGrey Pathto find additional nodes highlighted below.
Icecrown Titanium Ore Farming Route
The most ore deposit locations are found near Icecrown Citadel, Argent Vanguard, and Sindragosa’s Fall. Starting at any of these locations make your way around the map sticking to the edges of mountains. That is where the main location of ore deposits lie. An additional route can be found to the west around the Fleshworks.
Sholazar Basin Titanium Ore Farming Route
InSholazar Basin, the core loop is a “figure eight” around Frenzyheart Hill and The Makers' Overlook. Hitting Rivers Heart as well. If this route is depleted, make a larger loop making sure to check out each of the large “Pillars”. An additional route can be made around the very outside border, sticking to the edge of the mountain side.
Storm Peaks Titanium Ore Farming Route
Storm Peakshas a good tight cluster of Ore nodes, however many of them are going to be inside the vast amounts of caves and you’ll need a flying mount to farm here effectively. Starting at Brunnhildar Village, make your way around the southern and eastern parts of the map. An additional route can be made on the northern and western side of the map, though more sparse, there are not as many caves requiring dismounting.
Recipes That Use Titanium Ore
Titanium Oreis only used to makeTitanium Bars viaSmelt Titaniumfrom Mining (450). Players who have Alchemy can use the skillTransmute: Titaniumto create 1Titanium Barfrom 8Saronite Bar. Titanium Bars are the refined version of Titanium Ore and can be used in a number of recipes. Also note that in Phase 2 when Ulduar is released,Titansteel Barswill become available from Mining withSmelt Titansteeland new recipes will use them for the next tier of best-in-slot items.
