With an expansive open world, gamers have come across many people, places, and things during their adventures as Link in Hyrule Kingdom. Among the races inBreath of the Wildthat players can encounter is Koroks.

While there are no shortage of races inBreath of the Wild, Koroks stand out due their unique design; they have a wooden appearance and wear masks over their faces. Throughout the game, players can search for Koroks, of which 900 can be found, andgather Korok seedsfrom them to use to upgrade Link’s inventory when traded with Hestu. Recently, one fan made an impressive yet edible creation in honor of this tiny race from theZeldaseries.

Taking to Reddit, a user known as Sunsetgodzilla shared a picture of a cake they had recently created. However, this was no ordinary cake. Instead, the baker had decided to design a dessert to look like ascene fromBreath of the Wild. Impressively, the cake featured a Korok holding a two-leafed glider on top of what looked like a tree stump. In addition, there were a number of detailed mushrooms included in the design.

Beyond showing off the cake in an image, Sunsetgodzilla revealed more details about the project in the comments section. According to the Reddit user, they had decided to bake the cake for their boyfriend for his birthday. In addition, they revealed that it took around six hours to make and was a lemon poppyseed elderflower flavored cake. Furthermore, they noted that the filling was lemon-custard, while they made the icing using buttercream and elderflower liquor. To finish the cake, melted dark chocolate was used to make what they called “bark,” and some pistachios and lemon zest were added for some moss.

Unsurprisingly, numerousmembers of theZeldacommunityon Reddit were impressed with the level of detail seen in Sunsetgodzilla’s cake. In less than a day, the post has already gained more than 900 upvotes. Among the comments, several users were impressed with the amount of time Sunsetgodzilla was willing to spend making the cake for their boyfriend. In addition, some pointed out that the mushrooms made the design even better. Sunsetgodzilla agreed, revealing that “the mushrooms were fun to make.”

It will be interesting to see what other creations talented fans like Sunsetgodzilla make as they continue to wait for the release ofBreath of the Wild 2next year.
