ALegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer has taken advantage of the Ultrahand ability to create an unpowered aircraft, which utilizes propellers instead of Zonai devices. Thanks to the sandbox nature ofTears of the Kingdom’s Ultrahand ability, players have created all sorts of vehicles, including rechargeable electric cars, helicopters, and off-road buggies. Some members of the ever-growingZeldacommunity also put together an instructional website to help others build their own makeshift vehicles.
Compared to 2017’sBreath of the Wild,Tears of the Kingdomexpands on the core gameplay by introducing players to new mechanics, including Link’s Fuse and Ultrahand abilities. These mechanics are extensively used in combat and exploration, allowing players to build vehicles, fuse nearly any object together, and improve equipment’s innate capabilities. In a post submitted toTears of the Kingdomsubreddit, user AnswerDeep8792 showed an aircraft build that is composed of two propellers, four wood beams, and a spring. The aircraft being unpowered and not using any Zonai devices set it apart from many other vehicular contraptions. The original poster said the vehicle relies on the consistent pressure and friction between the flux core and the hoverstone, which means the power source is not just torque applied by the steering stick. This one-of-a-kind device also has four side rails and two sails as replacement parts.
In the comments, manyTears of the Kingdomplayers showed their love for the vehicle, with some claiming that there is a certain elegance and beauty to this build. Some also said this engineering trend shows how theZeldacommunity can be creative with the game’s construction mechanics.

Players can either combine planks of wood and Zonai wheels to make a simple car or attach fans and balloons to turn their vehicle into a floating boat.Tears of the Kingdomgives players infinite ways when it comes to creating intricate contraptions like autonomous drones, self-propelled boats, and laser destroyers.
As of late,Tears of the Kingdomplayers have come up with some crazy vehicles, which are great expressions of creativity that push the game’s construction mechanics to their limits. As an example, aTears of the Kingdomplayer has built a versatile vehiclethat can be used to fly, cross rough water, and travel on the ground.
